Bill Ingram
Managing Director

Bill has many years in the recruitment business, specialising in the technology sector. In the past he has led the regional expansion of Robert Walters and managed its London IT business. He then managed the Professional Services arm of an IT Service Management company and developed its outsourced recruitment business.

Bill is co-founder of BlueGlue and the main architect of its unique Recruitment Process Outsourcing Model. In addition to his wider Chief Executive responsibilities, he personally leads the Account Management activities of the company, bringing a fervent commitment to customer service quality.


David Johnson
Finance Director
David has over 15 years experience of working within high growth technology companies and as a result he has great experience of the frustration of recruiting good staff efficiently and cost effectively. Prior to setting up BlueGlue he was VP European Operations for Be Free, an internet marketing ASP which successfully listed on NASDAQ prior to merging with Valueclick.

Previously, he acted as CFO for Monis, a derivatives software specialist, taking them from their first VC investment through to an eventual trade sale to Sungard. Before that, as VP Finance, International, for CRM solutions company, Inference, he helped build the division’s share of the business from under 10% to over 50% of revenues, taking them to an IPO.

In his early career David gained experience with large corporations such as Unilever and Grand Metropolitan.


Joanne Heffernan
Head of Research

In this role Joanne leads a team dedicated to identifying best match candidates to every client vacancy. She draws on her client-side recruitment experience as an Occupational Health Office Manager and Customer Service Manager with Regus.

Joanne combines strong leadership skills with analytical strengths to manage the research activities for Blue Glue. Her customer service experience is also very valuable in screening and dealing with potential candidates and in developing the interest of those not actively seeking new roles.

Sue Boothby
Sales Manager
Sue is responsible for introducing the BlueGlue business model to our potential clients. Working closely with Marketing in forming the spearhead of our business.

Having graduated from the University of St. Mark & St. John, Sue joined the Department for Work & Pensions where she specialised in debt negotiation and management. Sue joined BlueGlue in the research department before moving into her current position as Sales Manager.

 



Steve James
Candidate Manager

Steve is responsible for candidate care across all our clients, providing a vital link for both clients and candidates during and after the recruitment process.

Having graduated from Plymouth University, Steve spent 2 years on the McDonalds Graduate Scheme where he gained experience in Recruitment and HR practices as well as designing and running training sessions for staff trainers. Steve moved to BlueGlue in a research capacity and moved into his current role in January 2008.
